Abstract

Pembentukan karakter religius merupakan salah satu tujuan utama dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya di tingkat sekolah dasar. Karakter religius mencakup nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual yang harus ditanamkan secara konsisten melalui berbagai metode pendidikan. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode pembiasaan, yang dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil di MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan. Namun, efektivitas penerapan metode ini dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa masih perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengangkat beberapa rumusan masalah utama: (1) Bagaimana penerapan metode pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil di MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan? (2) Bagaimana cara penanaman karakter religius terhadap pembiasaan ini? (3) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan metode pembiasaan ini? Berdasarkan rumusan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan metode pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil di MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan, (2) Menganalisis penanaman karakter religius terhadap pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil , dan (3) Mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung serta hambatan dalam penerapan metode pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan metode pembiasaan membaca Yasin dan Tahlil telah diterapkan secara rutin di MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan dan (2) Penanaman karakter religius mampu mengembangkan nilai-nilai positif seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab pada siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih disiplin, memiliki kesadaran beribadah yang lebih baik, serta menunjukkan sikap religius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. (3) Faktor pendukung dalam penerapan metode ini antara lain dukungan dari guru dan orang tua serta ketersediaan sarana yang memadai. Namun, masih terdapat hambatan seperti kurangnya kesadaran siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan secara khusyuk dan kendala eksternal seperti kondisi lingkungan dan cuaca. The formation of religious character is one of the main goals in Islamic education, especially at the elementary school level. Religious character includes moral and spiritual values that must be consistently instilled through various educational methods. One approach used is the habituation method, which in this study focused on the habituation of reading Yasin and Tahlil at MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan. However, the effectiveness of implementing this method in forming students' religious character still needs to be studied further. Therefore, this study raises several main problem formulations: (1) How is the implementation of the Yasin and Tahlil reading habituation method at MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan? (2) How to instill religious character in the habit of reading Yasin Tahlil at MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan? (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing this habituation method? Based on the formulation of the problem, this study aims to: (1) Describe the application of the Yasin and Tahlil reading habit method at MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan, (2) Analyze the instillation of religious character in the Yasin and Tahlil reading habit, and (3) Identify supporting factors and obstacles in the application of the Yasin and Tahlil reading habit method. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained are analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification to obtain valid conclusions. The results of the study indicate that (1) the application of the Yasin and Tahlil reading habit method has been routinely applied at MIS Kuripan Lor Pekalongan and (2) the instillation of religious character is able to develop positive values such as honesty, discipline, and responsibility in students. Students become more disciplined, have a better awareness of worship, and demonstrate a religious attitude in everyday life. (3) Supporting factors in the application of this method include support from teachers and parents and the availability of adequate facilities. However, there are still obstacles such as the lack of student awareness in participating in activities solemnly and external obstacles such as environmental and weather conditions.
