Thesis of State Administrative Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, State Islamic University (UIN) K.H Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. Advisor Ayon Diniyanto, M.H. This research was motivated by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia on January 3, 2025 issuing Decision Number 107/PUU/-XXII/2024 regarding the extension of the term of office of the Village Head. n its decision, the Constitutional Court stated that it could not accept the application submitted by the United Village Association, Muhadi, Arif Fadillah, Wardin Wahid, which was submitted by Advocates from the Law Firm D.R.S. & Partners, namely regarding the testing of the origin of 118 letter e of Law Number 3 of 2024 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. This study aims to explain the Constitutional Court Decision Number 107/PUU-XXII/2024 and the legal interpretation used by the Constitutional Court judges in the decision. The approaches used are the legislative approach, the conceptual approach, and the case approach. The technique of collecting legal materials is carried out by means of a literature study of legal materials, both primary legal materials and secondary legal materials by means of inventorying, identifying, and categorizing statutory regulations. The results of the study show that the Constitutional Court Judge in interpreting Decision Number 107/PUUXXII/2024 used a systematic interpretation, namely linking it to Decision Number 92/PUU-XXII/2024, resulting in the application losing its object.
