Abstract

Perusahaan selalu berusaha meraih keuntungan maksimal dan meningkatkan nilai perusahaan sebagai indikator kemakmuran pemegang saham dan persepsi investor terhadap kinerja masa depan. Meski profitabilitas menjadi fokus utama, perhatian terhadap isu lingkungan semakin penting, terutama di sektor energi yang berdampak besar terhadap lingkungan. Operasional di sektor ini menggunakan sumber daya alam yang berpotensi menimbulkan risiko lingkungan, sehingga pengelolaan dan pengungkapan informasi lingkungan menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sinyal dan teori stakeholder. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari www.idx.co.id dan website resmi perusahaan terkait. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan sektor energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2019-2023 sebanyak 79 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purpossive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 12 perusahaan. Metode analisis data berupa analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji kesesuaian model, analisis regresi data panel, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan program Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan pengungkapan lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sementara kinerja lingkungan, biaya lingkungan, dan pengungkapan lingkungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kemudian untuk pengujian secara simultan profitabilitas, kinerja lingkungan, biaya lingkungan dan pengungkapan lingkungan secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Although profitability is the main focus, attention to environmental issues is increasingly important, especially in the energy sector which has a major impact on the environment. Operations in this sector use natural resources that have the potential to cause environmental risks, so the management and disclosure of environmental information is very important. This study uses signaling theory and stakeholder theory. This research is a type of quantitative research using secondary data sourced from www.idx.co.id and the official websites of related companies. This research was conducted at energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023 as many as 79 companies. The sampling technique was purposive sampling method, so that a sample of 12 companies was obtained. The data analysis method is quantitative analysis using the model fit test, panel data regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the Eviews 12 program. The results of this study indicate that profitability and environmental disclosure affects firm value. While environmental performance, and environmental costs have no effect on firm value. Then for simultaneous testing profitability, environmental performance, environmental costs and environmental disclosure together affect firm value. Keywords: Environment, Energy, Firm Value
