Abstract
Pendidikan akhlak meniscayakan hubungan harmonis antar sesama manusia dengan mengedepankan sikap hormat menghormati satu sama lain. Dimensi pendidikan akhlak mengatur seluruh pola hubungan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan manusia demi mewujudkan kebahagiaan dalam hidup. Pendidikan nasional kita juga memuat tujuan pendidikan akhlak kepada peserta didik sebagaimana termaktub dalam undang-undang RI nomor 20 tahun 2003. Namun realitas di masyarakat membuktikan pendidikan belum mampu menghasilkan anak didik berkualitas secara keseluruhan. Kenyataan ini dapat dicermati dengan maraknya perilaku tidak terpuji di masyarakat, semisal merebaknya pengguna narkoba, penyalahgunaan wewenang, korupsi, manipulasi, perampokan, pembunuhan, pelecehan seksual, pemerkosaan, pelanggaran HAM, penganiayaan, dan lain-lain terjadi hampir tiap hari. Banyak tokoh Islam yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap pendidikan akhlak, al-Ghazali salah satunya. Al-Ghazali memiliki sebuah kitab yang mengupas tentang pentingnya akhlak mulia bagi peserta didik, yaitu kitab Ayyuha al-Walad. Kitab ini dikaji di kalangan pondok pesantren terbatas, itu pun hanya dalam kesempatan tertentu, padahal isi dari kitab ini sangat penting dan patut diketahui oleh seseorang yang sedang menuntut ilmu, karena isinya berhubungan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep pendidikan akhlak al-Ghazali dalam kitab Ayyuha al-Walad serta relevansinya dengan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah studi dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data, digunakan metode content analysis (analisis isi). Analisis isi digunakan untuk menganalisis karya-karya al-Ghazali, terutama yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan akhlak. Dalam penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa al-Ghazali telah memaparkan konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kitabnya secara detil. 1) Tujuan pendidikan akhlak adalah untuk mengabdi dan taat kepada Allah swt. dan diiringi dengan menjalankan perintah-perintah-Nya (beribadah) yang akhirnya bisa memperoleh ridho-Nya. Materi pendidikan akhlak terdiri dari ilmu pengetahuan, tasawuf, ubudiyah, tawakal, ikhlas dan riya’, serta nasihat-nasihat akhlak. Metode pendidikan akhlak mencakup metode keteladanan, metode cerita, metode mujahadah dan riyadhah, serta metode nasihat. 2) Bila ditinjau dari aspek tujuan, materi, metode dan subjek pendidikan akhlak, maka konsep pendidikan akhlak al-Ghazali dalam kitab Ayyuha al-Walad masih relevan bila diaplikasikan dalam pendidikan Islam di Indonesia... Moral education promises a harmonious relationship between human beings by promoting respect for each other. The dimension of moral education manage all patterns of relationships that exist in human life in order to realize happiness in life. Our national education goals also includes moral education for the students, as mentioned in the constitutions of Republic of Indonesia number 20, year 2003. However, reality in the community proves that education has not been able to produce qualified students as a whole. This fact can be found in the rise of disrespectful behavior in the community, such as the spread of drug users, abuse of authority, corruption, manipulation, robbery, murder, sexual harassment, rape, human rights violence, persecution, etc. that occur almost every day. Many Islamic scholars have a concern for moral education, al-Ghazali is one of them. Al-Ghazali has a book that discuss the importance of moral education for students, namely the book Ayyuha al-Walad. This book is studied in a limited number of Islamic boarding schools, and only on certain occasions, even though the contents of this book are very important and should be learned by someone who is studying, because the contents are related to the values of moral education. This paper aims to describe the concept of moral education according to al-Ghazali in the book "Ayyuha al-Walad" and its relevance to Islamic education in Indonesia. This type of research is a literature study with a qualitative approach, while the data collection technique is a documentation study. To analyze the data, content analysis methods are used. Content analysis is used to analyze al-Ghazali's writings, especially those related to moral education. In this study, it was concluded that al-Ghazali explained the concept of moral education in his book in detail. 1) The purpose of moral education is to serve and obey to Allah, with fulfilling His commandments (worship) which can finally gain His blessing. Moral education material consists of knoelwdge, Sufism, worship, tawakal, sincerity and riya', and good advice. Moral education methods include exemplary methods, story methods, mujahadah and riyadhah methods, and advice methods. 2) When it is observed from the aspect of objectives, materials, methods and subjects of moral education, moral education concept of al-Ghazali in the "Ayyuha al-Walad" book is still relevant if applied in Islamic education in Indonesia.
