Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan video animasi interaktif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas IX SMP N 1 Comal pada materi Qurban dan Aqiqah. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP N 1 Comal masih menggunakan metode ceramah konvensional yang monoton, serta minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi Z saat ini. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, khususnya pada materi Qurban dan Aqiqah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan video animasi interaktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan media video animasi interaktif, serta mendeskripsikan keefektifan video animasi interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Qurban dan Aqiqah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimental pre-test post-test control group. Sampel penelitian meliputi siswa kelas IX J sebagai kelompok eksperimen (dengan penggunaan media video animasi interaktif) yang berjumlah 32 siswa dan kelas IX A sebagai kelompok kontrol (dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional ceramah dengan media pembelajaran non-video) yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Data diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, serta uji statistik Mann-Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi interaktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam terbukti efektif pada kelas eksperimen. Yang dibuktikan melalui hasil observasi dan angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan nilai rata-rata 44,72 dan standar deviasi 3,692 yang memberikan respon positif dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata skor pre-test 67,13 yang naik menjadi 86,87 pada kelompok eksperimen, berbeda dengan kelompok kontrol yang hanya meningkat dari 69,50 menjadi 79,03. Keefektifan media ini dibuktikan oleh analisis statistik dengan nilai signifikansi Mann-Whitney U sebesar 0,039, yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Oleh karena itu, video animasi interaktif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa kelas IX SMP N 1 Comal pada materi Qurban dan Aqiqah. This study examines the effectiveness of using interactive animated videos in improving the learning outcomes of ninth-grade students of SMP N 1 Comal in the subject of Qurban and Aqiqah. Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP N 1 Comal still uses the monotonous conventional lecture method, and the minimal use of interactive learning media appropriate to the characteristics of today's Generation Z. This results in low student motivation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education, particularly in the subject of Qurban and Aqiqah. This study aims to describe the use of interactive animated videos in Islamic Religious Education (IS) learning. It also aims to describe student learning outcomes related to the use of interactive animated videos and the effectiveness of interactive animated videos on Qurban and Aqiqah learning. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test control group design. The research sample includes 32 students of class IX J as the experimental group (using interactive animated video media) and 32 students of class IX A as the control group (using conventional lecture learning methods with non-video learning media). Data were obtained using learning outcome test instruments, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Then analyzed using descriptive analysis, validity tests, reliability tests, and Mann-Whitney U statistical tests. The results of the study show that the use of interactive animated videos in Islamic Religious Education learning has proven effective in the experimental class. This is proven through the results of observations and questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, with an average value of 44.72 and a standard deviation of 3.692 which provides a positive response and active participation in learning. Student learning outcomes are evidenced by the average pre-test score of 67.13 which increased to 86.87 in the experimental group, in contrast to the control group which only increased from 69.50 to 79.03. The effectiveness of this media is proven by statistical analysis with a Mann-Whitney U significance value of 0.039, which shows a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, interactive animated videos have proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education for grade IX students of SMP N 1 Comal on the material of Qurban and Aqiqah.
